Merry Merry Snowmen Block of the Month

Applique these cute snowmen in a supportive environment. The applique can be done by hand or machine. Sally will demonstrate the various techniques of needle turn, freezer paper, blind stitch or decorative stitch. You'll work on two blocks a month and set the blocks in the final session. It's also an opportunity to learn embroidery stitches. The completed quilt is 62"x66".

Create a one of a kind cloth activity book for the toddler in your life. Your book can teach activities such as counting or shape recognition as well as fine motor activities like using snaps or pulling a zipper. Your book can include family photographs printed on fabric. It can also provide sensory stimulation through the use of a variety of fabrics. Let your imagination guide the creation of a book that offers both learning opportunities and fun. See the sample made in the early 1980's for the instructor's son.

In the first session, participants will cut out pattern pieces for the bag and changing pad, sew the pad, and start selected steps of the diaper bag. Complete the diaper bag in the second session.
